What to do on Family Day in St. Catharines

With free skating, swimming and other fun activities the City has your Family Day covered. Join us for Family Day in the City Monday, Feb. 19 and enjoy the following family-favourite activities:

Free skating
Enjoy free skating from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre. Regular rules and supervision requirements apply. Learn more at http://www.stcatharines.ca/skating.

Free swimming
St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre
Enjoy free leisure swims at various times throughout the day. Regular rules and supervision requirements apply. Leisure swim schedule available at http://www.stcatharines.ca/swim.

Pop Up PLAY Tent and Fun Zone
Enjoy free games, crafts, face painting and other fun family activities from noon to 5 p.m. at the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre.

St. Catharines Musem and Welland Canals Centre
Make lasting Family Day memories at the museum with dress-up stations throughout the galleries, exhibit building activities, and special behind-the-scenes tours 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission by donation. The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre
Bring the family to the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre to sing along with Choir! Choir! Choir! on Friday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. All tickets $20. Or, enjoy a special Family Day weekend presentation of the Swiss Family Robinson on the big screen in the Film House on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 4 p.m. Admission $9 for adults, $7 for children 13 and under. The following City of St. Catharines facilities will be closed for Family Day (Feb. 19):
 City Hall
 Enterprise Centre
 Dunlop Drive, Port Dalhousie and West St. Catharines older adult centres
 Russell Avenue and Port Weller community centres
 Victoria Lawn Cemetery offices (visitation is always available from dawn to dusk)
