I point this article out only to ask why city parks are allowed to go untended, only to later require large influxes of cash to be made usable again?
A part of my platform to be discussed at length in a post in a few days. If we want to call ourselves the Garden City, then we should start taking care of our gardens properly, rather than letting them languish until they need hundreds of thousands of dollars in fixes.
